Help Us Spread the Word that We’ve Got It!
The Thompson Okanagan’s beauty unfolds in vineyards, orchards, welcoming communities, and rugged landscapes. As spring turns to summer, this region becomes a haven for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. Here is where the food tells the story.
The region is home to burgeoning young wine industry that has seen vines mature over several decades. Despite recent challenges, winemakers and growers continue to adapt and innovate, embodying a steadfast spirit of perseverance. Help spread the word that the Okanagan’s got wine, culinary, outdoor adventure, and so much more this year and for years to come and we want visitors to come to the region and get it!
The #OkanagansGotIt campaign was created by Elephant Island Winery, JoieFarm Winery, and Deep Root Cellars on the Naramata Bench in spring 2024 with the intent to bring the wine industry and tourism and hospitality industry together. This hashtag is being taken up by many. To participate, show what ‘you’ve got’ at your own business via social channels and then nominate other wineries or tourism businesses to do the same and keep the chain going. This trend is showcasing the incredible wineries and tourism businesses in the Okanagan and what unique offerings they each have along with demonstrating the unity within the tourism industry.
Help spread the hashtag by creating your own video or graphic and nominating other tourism businesses to do the same.
