Travel Trade

The Thompson Okanagan is a destination that welcomes travellers from all over the world. Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, the Thompson Okanagan’s Regional Destination Management Organization (RDMO), works with Destination BC to invite key travel trade (tour operators, receptive tour operators, and travel agents) to experience British Columbia tourism products through familiarization tours (FAMs). These FAMS are created in the hopes of exposing tourism products in the Thompson Okanagan and build lasting relationships with tour operators.

While in British Columbia one must acquire the proper permits to provide tour services within BC Provincial Parks. Learn more by visiting BCParks.ca/Permits.
