Similkameen Valley

 

The Similkameen Valley is a beautiful, rustic, and under-discovered region that offers travelers a unique getaway. Located on the southwest edge of the Thompson Okanagan, this valley sits right in between the Okanagan Valley and the Lower Mainland. While driving through the Similkameen Valley you will find rolling ranch and farmlands, beautiful mountains, rivers, and many fruit stands. Manning Park and Catherdral Provincial Park are both well known for being an outdoor lover’s dream, offering endless hiking trails with stunning views and a ski hill at Manning Park Resort. Along with outdoor recreation, the Similkameen Valley is also an award-winning wine region.
